Doug and Selma reside within the London based Deadbeat collective and pride themselves on drawing on pretty much anything and everything. Selma’s illustrations capture her unique ability to see the curious within the everyday. Doug creates a range of montages from found material giving them a new identity and dialogue. Their likes include: drawing, dirty shoes, paint, panda eyes, a brand new Posca pen, the crispy edges of a lasagne, the sea, dogs, flaneuring, bike riding, the smell of old books and wine. Dislikes : Dealing with the general public, things that lurk at the bottom of the sea, copycats, curdled eggs benedict, bossy people, fizzy RED wine and British Telecom.
